This Is Bad

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This policy covers the game This Is Bad (Android package com.tbrox.thisisbad) and its versions for other platforms, made by Trygve Brox ("I", "me").

Summary

This Is Bad does not collect, store remotely or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your device

The game saves your progress, your settings and a short history of past runs in the app's own storage on your device. It also keeps a local performance log, used only to make the game run better. None of this leaves your device: the game does not send it to me or to anyone else. Uninstalling the game deletes it.

Permissions

The game does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.

Third parties

The game is distributed through app stores such as Google Play. Those stores handle downloads and, if they are added in future, purchases under their own privacy policies. They may collect information such as crash reports or install statistics. The game itself contains no third-party advertising or analytics code.

This website

This website, thisisbadgame.com, is hosted by Cloudflare. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. That service sets no cookies and does not identify or follow individual visitors. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare handles technical data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy. The site has no forms, accounts or advertising.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version adds features that handle personal data, for example cloud saves through Google Play Games or in-app purchases, this policy will be updated before that version is released, with the date above changed.
